Latest Arsenal transfer rumours: Aubameyang contract talks halted, competition for Edouard

The season may be on hold but that has not stopped clubs, including Arsenal, from preparing for the transfer window.

It still remains a mystery when it will open, so clubs are plotting their deals nice and early so not to be caught on the back foot.

With that in mind, here are the latest Arsenal transfer rumours doing the rounds in the national media today...

Arsenal listening to Aubameyang offers

Arsenal are said to have halted contract talks with striker Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang, according to the Daily Mail, and will listen to transfer offers this summer.

The report claims that Aubemyang is seeking a wage increase on his '£200,000-per-week' salary next season to make up for a season without Champions League football - but with a financial crisis looming during the coronavirus pandemic that seems unlikely.

Barcelona and Inter Milan have both been linked with the services of the Gabon international.

He has been in sublime for the Gunners, scoring 20 in 23 appearances this term.

Gunners set to face transfer battle for Celtic ace

Arsenal are set to face a transfer battle if they wish to land Celtic forward Odsonne Edouard.

That's according to a report by France Football that has added London rivals Crystal Palace to the list of clubs interested in his services.

Lyon and Monaco are also said to be keeping tabs on the 22-year-old.

His phenomenal season north of the border has had European clubs scrambling for his signature and he now looks almost certain to leave Parkhead when the window eventually opens.

Adama Traore's agent puts Liverpool and Arsenal on alert

Wolves ace Adama Traore could be open to a transfer this summer, with Liverpool and Arsenal both linked with his services.

The agent of the Spanish wide man has hinted that he could hame numerous options on the table when the season ends - putting the Gunners on high alert.

He told EFE: "I can’t talk about contractual situations because it’s a private matter, but Adama was having a good season, and with his age, conditions and the fact he’s a very appealing player, there would have been a market for him, no doubt about it."

"We have to hope for the situation to normalise itself and hope that it won’t affect him this summer."
