Arsenal are on the eve of the new Premier League season, as they kickstart the campaign tomorrow lunchtime against newly-promoted Fulham.
The Gunners ended last term on a high by winning the FA Cup, following that up with a Community Shield victory against Liverpool, and are looking to bring an end to a lengthy absence of Champions League football.
Mikel Arteta has already bolstered his side this summer with new additions, landing Willian on a free transfer from Chelsea and signing Gabriel Magalhaes from Lille, but there is still work to be done.
Plenty of names continue to be linked with a move to the Emirates Stadium and we have gathered some of the latest snippets for you below.
Aubameyang rejects Barcelona
Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang has snubbed a move to Barcelona in favour of penning a new three-year deal with Arsenal, Fabrizio Romano states.
The La Liga giants are in the midst of an overhaul following another disappointing campaign, with new boss Ronald Koeman leading the charge to land new recruits.
As part of that, it is reported that the Catalan side approached Aubameyang for a potential transfer but hit a brick wall with their advances.
That approach is said to have happened weeks ago but Aubameyang has tied-up a new agreement in North London, which lasts until 2021.
Emiliano Martinez agrees Villa deal
Arsenal goalkeeper Emiliano Martinez has already agreed personal terms with Aston Villa worth £60k-a-week ahead of a proposed move, the Independent states.
The Gunners have offered the Argentine stopper a significantly improved deal as they look to keep him at the club, where they want him to compete with Bernd Leno for the number one spot.
However, Martinez is seeking first-team assurances which have not been forthcoming and, with it stated Leno will make his return in tomorrow's clash with Fulham, Arsenal are reluctantly set to agree to a sale.
Villa lead the chase for the keeper's services and have previously offered £15m, though Arsenal have set an asking price of £20m.
PSG will not move for Guendouzi
Paris Saint-Germain boss Thomas Tuchel has stated his side will not be making a move in the transfer market to sign Arsenal midfielder Matteo Guendouzi.
Mikel Arteta is open to offloading the France ace, with his services already touted to Lyon in a part-exchange offer for Houssem Aouar, and it has been widely reported that PSG are interested.
However, speaking after PSG's shock defeat to newly-promoted RC Lens on Thursday evening, Tuchel ruled out a move by saying: "No, that will not happen."
The 21-year-old has recently returned to Arsenal's first-team training, suggesting he could be offered a new lease of life if he does remain in Arteta's squad.
