Latest Arsenal transfer rumours: Arsenal to battle Liverpool for wonderkid, Ceballos latest

There are now just three weeks left in the summer transfer window for Arsenal to do their business.

The Gunners have completed just one signing so far this summer, with 18-year-old Brazilian winger Gabriel Martinelli joining the club.

But while Arsenal may be out on their pre-season tour of the United States of America, but that does not stop the rumour mill from continuing.

Below, we take a look at the latest transfer rumours involving the Gunners for players who could arrive - and leave.

Bilel Hassaini

Liverpool have swooped for 18-year-old Arsenal target Bilel Hassaini, according to latest reports from France.

Arsenal and Barcelona have been monitoring attacking midfielder Hassaini, with his cash-strapped club AS Nancy thought to be prepared to sell as they look to raise money to avoid relegation to the French third tier.

But there has been no official bid from Arsenal, and Liverpool have reportedly decided jumped ahead in the queue by making an offer.

That is according to Foot Mercato via  Get Football News France , who claim that Ligue 1 club St Etienne are also interested.

Paris Saint-Germain were also interested, but pulled out of a move for Hassaini after advanced discussions reached a dead end.

Dani Ceballos

The youngster has been linked with a move to Arsenal and Spurs this summer after being told by Zidane that he does not feature in the first team plans this season.

According to reports in Spain, Zidane would prefer the midfielder to leave on a permanent deal to raise funds to continue his first-team rebuild following the arrival of the likes of Eden Hazard.

However, club president Perez is pushing for a loan deal, in the belief that the 22-year-old still has a long-term future at the Bernabeu.

Pape Abou Cisse

Arsenal are reportedly lining up a £10million bid for 6ft 6in defender Pape Abou Cisse from Olympiakos.

According to  90min , the Gunners are confident a £10m bid will see them move one step closer to signing the 23-year-old, having scouted him last season.

Wolves are also thought to be in for the centre-half, who made 29 appearances last season, seven in the Europa League.

Whilst Arsenal are close completing the signing of William Saliba from Saint-Etienne, the Frenchman is moving back on loan for the whole season meaning the Gunners are still reportedly in the market for reinforcements at centre back - especially with the chances of Laurent Koscielny remaining at the club looking remote.

Everton Soares

According to  Calciomercato.it , Arsenal remain in pole position to sign Everton Soares.

The winger was one of the standout players in Brazil’s Copa America success and has been linked with a move to Europe with Arsenal and AC Milan linked.

The report claims there is belief that a deal can be concluded for €40m, and an Arsenal delegation led by new technical director Edu, has already flown to Brazil in order to try and negotiate terms.

If a deal can be struck, Everton would likely be the Gunners’ third summer signing, with Saint-Etienne’s William Saliba set to be unveiled early next week.
