Mikel Arteta has been slowly rebuilding his Arsenal side this summer but knows more must be done before the transfer window slams shut.
The Gunners added the FA Community Shield to their FA Cup win earlier this summer but have to improve on eighth in the Premier League last season.
Recruiting new talent is key to Arsenal's success this upcoming season and there has been speculation aplenty about what the Gunners might do next.
With that in mind, here is the latest transfer rumours round-up on Arsenal.
Man United join Thiago race
Manchester United have joined Liverpool and Arsenal in the race to sign Thiago Alcantara.
Liverpool have been heavily linked with a move for the midfielder during the summer transfer window, with Arsenal also involved in rumours of late.
United have now also joined Thiago's list of suitors, according to the Daily Star.
As it stands, Thiago's wage demands have been too high. The 29-year-old is available for around £27 million from Bayern Munich.
Bayern eye Bellerin
Bayern Munich have emerged among the favourites to sign Hector Bellerin from Arsenal.
Bellerin has been linked with an exit from the Emirates during the summer transfer window, with Juventus said to be leading the race for his signature.
Bayern have joined PSG and the Serie A champions in adding Bellerin to their list of targets, football.london understands.
Guendouzi latest
Valencia have told Arsenal that they want to know what the future holds for Matteo Guendouzi.
The Spanish side have made their intentions clear as they want to sign the 21-year-old on loan.
But Mirror Football says that the Gunners are only willing to sell the midfielder at this stage.
Guendouzi hasn't featured since June after falling out with Arteta.
