Arsenal were very busy in the summer transfer window.
Six players were signed as Mikel Arteta bolstered his first-team squad with Aaron Ramsdale, Takehiro Tomiyasu, Benjamin White, Nuno Tavares, Albert Sambi Lokonga and Martin Odegaard.
Following a dismal start to the Premier League season, it's safe to say that all six have played a key role in guiding the Gunners away from the relegation zone and into contention for the European qualification spots.
And in an attempt to maintain their recent improvement, the Arsenal board may already be looking at the January transfer window to improve the squad even further for the second half of the season.
However, just because the window is not open yet, that doesn't mean the rumours have gone away.
With that said, here is a round-up of some of the latest Arsenal transfer rumours.
Erik ten Hag's next move
Earlier in the week, Ajax boss Erik ten Hag had been tipped to take over as manager of Arsenal should Mikel Arteta be sacked.
This was the view of former Ajax coach Aad de Mos: "I think Borussia Dortmund is the ideal option for him. Far from their goal, and it’s not going well right now," he said when speaking to Algemeen Dagblad, relayed by Voetbal Primeur.
"They have young players, and he can bring a few from Ajax. In that period, they are also going to make another step. That would be ideal.

"If Nagelsmann leaves, then it’s Bayern Munich. At FC Barcelona, Xavi is only just starting, Arsenal, if Arteta doesn’t do well. Then we’ll be sold out soon. Atalanta is still possible, based on the soccer they play."
Although, it would appear that Ten Hag's next move has already been revealed.
According to the Mirror, Ten Hag has put himself in the frame to become Manchester United ’s next manager as his work at Ajax has impressed chiefs at Old Trafford.
Calvert-Lewin bid
Paul Merson believes that Arsenal launch a massive bid to sign Dominic Calvert-Lewin.
With Alexandre Lacazette and Eddie Nketiah set to leave at the end of the season, a new striker is expected to be a priority for Arteta and Edu amid links to the likes of Jonathan David and Joao Felix.
However, Merson has urged his former club to go all out for Calvert-Lewin.
"Arsenal need to go out and buy Calvert-Lewin as soon as he’s fit," he said. "Put in a massive bid for him. They need a focal point up front whose good and strong and can hold the ball up.
"It’s the Arsenal.
“Everton aren’t bigger than Arsenal. Arsenal are going to finish above them. If Calvert-Lewin goes, they have a chance to get in the top four."
£85m for De Jong
Frenkie de Jong has previously admitted to wanting to play for Arsenal.
"I actually thought Arsenal was pretty beautiful in the past," he told Voetbal International, as per Sky Sports. "In my mind I have had the following list for a long time: Ajax-Arsenal-Barcelona, call it the Marc Overmars route.
"But yes, if you can go directly to Barcelona, then you are also right where you want to be. Faster than you ever dared to dream."
Having already skipped the middle step, there is a chance for Arsenal to grant de Jong his wish - albeit in an alternative route - although they would have to spend almost £100million.

Speaking on the Transfer Window Podcast, journalist Duncan Castles has said that whilst Barcelona do not want to sell the midfielder, they would let him go if they received an exceptional offer for him.
“The other player who is relevant here is Frenkie De Jong. Barcelona do not want to sell him is the information I have, but they are open to selling him if they get an exceptional offer for the player because they realise they have to raise money somewhere within this squad," he said.
"I asked what they thought represented an exceptional offer for De Jong, the figure that came back to me was €100million (£85million)."
