Latest Arsenal transfer rumours: £63m Isco interest, Gabriel makes transfer admission

Arsenal are finding their feet under Mikel Arteta and big chances are expected in the summer ahead of the Spaniard's first full season at the Emirates Stadium.

Arteta inherited a disjointed Gunners squad that needs some work, although there are some positives to build around, and plenty of attention will be cast towards North London.

A hefty spending spree last year saw some significant additions, including Nicolas Pepe and William Saliba, while January saw the Gunners focus their attention on the loan market by signing Pablo Mari and Cedric Soares.

Plenty of rumours continue to float around the club and we have gathered some of the latest snippets below.

Arsenal already planning summer transfers

£63m Isco interest

Arsenal are among the clubs eyeing a move in the summer transfer market for Real Madrid midfielder Isco, according to reports from Spanish outlet El Desmarque.

It's suggested that the La Liga leaders are prepared to cash in if their asking price of £63m is met, as they intend to fund a staggering move for Paris Saint-Germain forward Kylian Mbappe.

Isco would be able to establish himself as the replacement for Mesut Ozil at the Emirates Stadium, while his versatility also means he would provide an option in the wider areas of the attack.

However, it is suggested interest in his services will be fierce as Chelsea, PSG and Manchester City are also attributed with an interest in the Spain international.

Gabriel makes transfer admission

Reported Arsenal target Gabriel Magalhães has admitted he would be interested in a move to the Premier League when speaking to French publication Telefoot.

The 22-year-old was linked with a move from the Ligue 1 side to North London in the January transfer window, with a figure of around £30m muted for his services.

Lille are said to be open to a sale if their price-tag on the Brazilian is met at the end of the season and Gabriel has ignited speculation by confirming his interest in a move to England.

“Maybe I don't know, but I would love to play in the Premier League.”

Besiktas eye Elneny deal

Turkish outfit Besiktas are keen to sign Arsenal midfielder Mohamed Elneny on a permanent basis when his loan stint with the club expires at the end of the season, reports cited by Sport Witness state.

The 27-year-old Egypt international is surplus to requirements at the Emirates Stadium and Besiktas have the option to buy the player for a fee of €18m in the summer transfer window.

However, the club's financial situation means they are unlikely to be able to match that figure and they are instead keen on keeping him on loan for another year.

Elneny signed a long-term contract in North London back in 2016 and the report states that deal expires in 2022, while it's suggested elsewhere that his agreement expires this summer.
