The January transfer market is open for business and Arsenal fans are expecting their club to be active this month.
Following a poor start to the season, the Gunners are playing catch up in a bid to secure Champions League football this season.
Mikel Arteta's first three matches in charge have shown reasons to be optimistic, with the highlight being a superb performance against Manchester United last week.
As a result of Arteta’s recent appointment, plenty of transfer rumours regarding Arsenal are floating around and we have gathered some of the latest snippets below.
Adrien Rabiot latest
Arsenal and Spurs are said to have taken “concrete steps” towards signing Adrien Rabiot from Juventus.
The North London sides have been linked with the 24-year-old for some time, but Carlo Ancelotti’s arrival at Everton means the Toffees are now the frontrunners to sign the midfielder.
According to Corriere dello Sport, Everton are “especially” keen, and are willing to pay €5million (£4.25m) to secure a six-month loan for the former PSG star, with an option to buy in the summer.

Juve are still not convinced on an exit for the French star, who has only been in Serie A for six months.
Tuttosport, meanwhile, state that Everton are ‘insisting’ on paying €30million for the midfielder in January.
Merih Demiral set-back
Juventus will reportedly reject any bids for centre-back Merih Demiral in the January transfer window.
Arsenal, Leicester and Borussia Dortmund have been linked to the defender this month, with the Bundesliga side believed to have made an offer worth around €40million (£34m).
Leicester are also said to have made a bid, but it was significantly lower.
However, Goal state that no offers will be considered for the 21-year-old in this transfer window, regardless of the fee.
Arsenal make contact with Jerome Boateng
Arsenal have reportedly made contact with Bayern Munich about a potential transfer for Jerome Boateng.
According to Foot Mercato , the Bundesliga side want between €16million and €18million (£13.6m and £14.5m) to release the 31-year-old.
