Mikel Arteta put his Arsenal squad through their paces at London Colney as the manager seeks a defensive solution for their Europa League tie against Dundalk.
Arteta has just two fit recognised central defenders available for Thursday's Europa League Group B tie at the Emirates.
Shkodran Mustafi and Gabriel Magalhaes are his only options, with David Luiz (thigh), Rob Holding (hamstring), Pablo Mari (ankle) and Calum Chambers (knee) all missing through injury.
Fellow defenders Sokratis Papastathopoulos and William Saliba are unavailable having been left out of the Europa League squad as Gabriel Martinelli (knee) also misses out - but Willian and Bukayo Saka should be in contention.
