Late-night terror as three houses attacked with 'petrol bombs' in Drogheda, Co Louth

Three houses were attacked with suspected petrol bombs overnight in Drogheda, Co Louth.

The first incident saw a device thrown at a house in St Laurence's Park in the town at around 12.15am.

The front window and living room of the property were damaged in the attack.

A house on Scarlet Crescent was also targeted, with a device thrown through the window of the home just after 1am.

Finally a third house was damaged in an attack at Loughboy in Mell. The fire brigade attended the scene at around 4am and gardai said investigations are ongoing.

Two houses petrol bombed as crime feud escalates in Drogheda Co Louth 

It is not believed anyone was injured in any of the attacks.

It comes just a day after two houses were targeted in similar incidents on Saturday night.

The first attack took place at around 12.20am on Saturday morning when a petrol bomb was aimed at a house in Ashleigh Heights.

Gardai say that a window was broken but no one was injured.

The second incident took place at about 4am when another petrol bomb was thrown through the window of a house in Springfield Court.
