Late Late Toy Show viewers praise brave Irish girl, 8, for sharing bullying experience

Late Late Toy Show viewers were blown away by a brave Irish girl sharing her experience of bullying on the show.

Sophia, eight, was on the show to discuss the latest videogames with host Ryan Tubridy, when she told him that she sometimes gets a hard times from other kids over her appearance.

Explaining that other children pick on her for her hair, and call her 'weird', Sophia bravely shared her story, RSVP Live reports.

Tubs comforted her by telling her that she was a beautiful person and that if she looked like everyone else, life would "be bloody boring".

And Sophia embraced it, telling everyone watching "don't let the bullies stop you from doing the things you want to do".

Addressing the bullies, she quipped: "They're all at home watching me on the telly!"

Toy Show viewers were moved by Sophia's bravery, and took to Twitter to share their thoughts.

"That kid has me sobbing. What a little hero! Stuff the bullies," wrote one.

"8 years of age.... getting bullied.. it's a sad sad world that we live in if parents allow their kids to bully others because they might be different or not cool," added a second.

"It's OK to be different #toyshow bullies never win.. Don't let them stop you," a third added.

While a fourth said: "Sophia you are beautiful, don't let idiot bullies (cowards) win!"
