Late Late Toy Show viewers 'in tears' after Ryan Tubridy speaks with 'inspirational' Finn

Viewers of tonight's Late Late Toy Show have described one young guest as the 'winner of the show,' after he told Ryan about his recent battle with cancer.

Finn told the host about the joy playing with Lego used to bring him while being treated for his cancer in hospital.

The young boy explained that when he “wasn’t really able to move” his mum would help him put the pieces together.

After bravely telling his story, Finn told the audience that after his treatment, he was able to ring a bell in the hospital to tell the rest of the ward that he was “done with cancer.”

Viewers have been hailing this year’s Lego toy tester, with one writing: “Brilliant Finn from the Déise broke the bell Bell he rang with such energy.

“What a brave lad, not a dry eye in the house.”

Another said: “I am not emotionally able for this, how amazing is Finn.”

A third wrote: “Well now I'm in bits. All the love to Finn and his family. What an amazing kid.”

When his segment finished on the show, he returned moments later to hand Ryan a badge to raise awareness for children’s cancer.

To which viewers responded saying: “Finn, you are the kindest little soul.”

Another said: “Finn is this year's winner of the toy show. Little hero.”

The at-home audience was then delighted when Ryan revealed that Finn would be off to Legoland in Denmark with his family this Christmas.

"You will be treated like the Lord of LEGO in Ireland,” he said.
