Late Late Toy Show: People were loving the ISL interpreter for reaction to rave music

With millions of people tuning in from over 100 countries across the world, The Late Late Toy Show once again was the talk of the Irish on Friday night.

Once again, the show was provided in Irish Sign Language (ISL), with Amanda Coogan, Aisling Dragoi and Sarah Jane O'Regan presenting on the RTE News channel and the RTE player.

That meant that anyone hard of hearing could enjoy moments such as Ryan Tubridy getting hit with a bubble maker, the magic of Finn Ryan's bell-ringing or the surprise twist as Ed Sheeran and Kellie Harrington rambled onto the set.

But there was one segment which provided a highlight for many - the rave.

During the festivities, we saw DJ Calum (and his hype man/little brother Jackson!) spin the decks with a musical interlude that had people across the nation dancing.

Including ISL interpreter Amanda Coogan, who was enjoying a serious bop to the music!

One user tweeted: "Accessible Children's Shows are the best kind of Children's Show"

A second added: "I absolutely want to hit the club or a gaff party with Amanda. The girlf we all need."

While a third said: "This is so good. Brilliant from #AmandaCoogan! Can imagine how great this was for #IrishSignLanguage kids and parents to see and enjoy!"

Another noted: "I missed a treat last night by not seeing the Irish Sign Language lady in action. Pure joy"

Meanwhile, over €4.5million has been raised so far for the RTÉ Toy Show Appeal and money continues to come in from around the globe.

One of the ways to donate was via the Revolut app, which temporarily experienced an outage of services.

As a gesture of goodwill and support, Revolut co-founder Vlad Yatsenko early on Saturday morning pledged to match any donations made from 3am on Saturday 27th to midnight Sunday 28th November up to a maximum level of €1 million Euro.

He also made a personal pledge to donate €100,000 to the Appeal.
