RTE have released the first trailer for The Late Late Toy Show with a sleepy Ryan Tubridy urging kids to stay up late to watch the show.
Following an emotional show last year that marked the end of a year like no other after the arrival of Covid, host Tubridy has hyped this year’s extravaganza to be ‘the most magical night of the year’.
Two weeks before the much-anticipated show is set to hit screens, RTE released a trailer urging kids all over the country to stay up past their bed times to watch the magic live on the night.
The promo features sleepy children all over the country after the big night, with some falling asleep brushing their teeth, on their toast, on the trampoline, and on the bus to football after staying up late the night before.
The excitement ends with the popular host also falling head first into his breakfast the morning after, but saying ‘totally worth it’, the tagline of the 2021 show.
Ryan and his army of toy testers will bring the magic from all corners of the country to reveal the hottest new toys of the year at the end of the month.
Promising ‘incredible characters, knockout performances, amazing surprise guests (and an array of Ryan's Christmas jumpers)’ RTE said everyone is invited to be part of the most phenomenal night, where Christmas truly begins.
“Stay up late…it will be totally worth it!” they added.
The new trailer will first air on Irish television during this evening's RTE Six One News bulletin.
The Late Late Toy Show airs Friday November 26 at 9.35pm on RTE One and RTE Player.
