Last photo of missing Brit Amelia Bambridge, 21, taken hours before she vanished

The last known picture of missing British backpacker Amelia Bambridge has been released - taken just hours before her disappearance in Cambodia.

The 21-year-old told her sister she was having the 'best time ever' shortly before she vanished, reports say.

Ms Bambridge made the comment in a phone call ahead of a beach party on the 'paradise island' Koh Rong on Wednesday.

The missing Brit, from Worthing, West Sussex, was last seen at the party at 3am on Thursday.

No one has seen or heard from her since.

Her sister Georgie told Sky News : "She went to the Police Beach party on Wednesday night - the last time I spoke to her was Wednesday daytime.

"She said it was doing so much for her confidence and she found so many people who were friendly.

"She said 'Everyone is so cool here' and couldn't be happier."

The sister also told the BBC: "She's my best friend. We were like twins, she's literally my other half.

"We need to find her. It has to happen."

Ms Bambridge can be seen standing around a fire with pals in the last footage taken of her before she vanished.

Police have released an image of Amelia's backpack and its contents.

The bag contains a small purse, several packs of over-the-counter medication, her mobile phone, a phone charger, headphones, bank cards, a watch, a lighter, a pen, a tourist SIM card, a small padlock, a nail file and a keyring.

The missing woman's mum fears she may have got lost walking through forest on her way back to the hostel.
