If you're thinking of booking a last minute escape for some sunshine abroad, the good news is that there are currently some tempting holiday deals on offer.

With kids heading back to school there's been a price drop on holidays too, meaning you could snap up seven-night holidays from £96pp.

Under the green list rules when returning to the UK you'll need to take a pre-departure test, and a PCR test on day two of being back. No self-isolation or quarantine is necessary.
Under the amber list rules when returning to the UK you'll need to take a pre-departure test, as well as PCR tests on days two and eight of being back. Adults who are not fully vaccinated against Covid will be required to self-isolate for 10 days at home.
It's worth noting that the green and amber list can change quickly. The government has been sharing updates roughly every three weeks, with the latest one on August 26. Currently, it's not expected to give another update until September 16 but this is of course dependent on the Covid situation in countries around the world.
