Many retailers and restaurants offer a bonus for buying gift cards this time of year, but some double the deals. Here's a few that are offering extra special promo offers with purchase, but you must act now!
_ Amazon: Use Amazon's mobile app for the first time and get rewarded with free credits of up to $25. Customers who sign in to the app for the first time will receive a $10 promotional code off a qualifying order of $20 or more. Then, get a free $15 promotional code off the next qualifying order of $30 or more by completing your first in app purchase. The offer ends Dec. 31.
_ Bonefish Grill: Get two free $10 promotional cards redeemable next year with purchase of $50 in gift cards through Christmas Eve. That's enough for a free entree! One of the $10 bonus cards is also good at Bloomin' Brands restaurants, including Outback, Carrabba's and Fleming's Steakhouse.
_ Capital Grille: Get a bonus of 10% of your purchase plus a beautiful boxed set of steak knives with a $500 or more gift-card purchase.
_ Carrabba's: Free two $10 gift card with purchase of $50 in gift cards in restaurants only through Christmas Eve. One of the $10 bonus cards is also good at Bloomin' Brands restaurants, including Outback, Bonefish Grill and Fleming's Steakhouse.
_ Mastercard: At Publix, save $10 on a $50 Mastercard gift card with a $50 grocery purchase by using a coupon printed in the purple flyer (grab one as you enter the store). The offer is good through Dec. 27, but stores will be closed on Christmas. There is a $4.95 activation fee.
