Fopp on Byres Road have announced today will be their last day of trading.
Late last year, it was revealed the record store would be closing and confirmed earlier this month it would shut before the end of January.
The team working at the shop earlier advised on Twitter today will be the store's last day.
Closing down sale signs have been displayed in the shop windows, at 358 Byres Road, for a number of weeks.
It's understood a new tenant is already lined up to move in once Fopp vacates the space.
The closure comes after HMV warned of job losses and the shutting of up to 10 stores unless new deals with landlords could be secured.
The HMV store at Braehead shopping centre was under threat, however earlier this month a deal was struck between the landlord and the retailer for the shop to remain open.
