Las Vegas Strip area adds unique attraction from a huge star

Las Vegas has become the place to be for celebrity chefs and pretty much every big-name music star in the world.

You can eat at restaurants on the Las Vegas Strip operated by Bobby Flay, Gordon Ramsay, Wolfgang Puck, Guy Fieri, Martha Stewart, Gordon Ramsay, Buddy Valastro, Emeril Lagasse, and pretty much any chef who appears regularly on television.

Flay, Ramsay, and Fieri actually have deals with Caesars Entertainment (CZR) -) where they have multiple restaurants across the company's casinos spanning a variety of types of food.

Flay, for example, has his casual Bobby's Burger Palace in multiple Caesars casinos and his high-end Amalfi at Caesar's Palace. Ramsay has done the same thing with his signature steakhouse at Paris Las Vegas and his casual fish and chips joint at Linq Promenade.

Fieri has a similarly outsized Caesars presence and recently opened a reimagined take on a sportsbook at the revamped Horseshoe Resort Casino. The celebrity chefs on the Las Vegas Strip are (perhaps) outshined only by the big-name musicians in residency.

Caesars has Adele, Garth Brooks, and Rod Stewart at its signature Colosseum venue while MGM Resorts International (MGM) -) boasts Lady Gaga and Bruno Mars in its star-studded lineup. In many ways, Sin City has become Star City, and a name that's bigger than all of them is headed to a site just off the Las Vegas Strip.

Tiger Woods is coming to Las Vegas

The most famous (and arguably the best) golfer in history plans to bring his minigolf and restaurant concept, PopStroke, to a site just off the Las Vegas Strip. Ground will be broken on Aug. 16 for a massive PopStroke complex at the Town Square shopping and dining complex just south of the Las Vegas Strip.

"Founded in 2019, PopStroke is a technology-infused golf entertainment venue featuring a one-of-a-kind golf experience with two 18-hole putting courses created from the vision of Tiger Woods and his TGR Design team," according to a news release. "The putting courses are coupled with an elevated full-service restaurant and bar that includes outdoor dining areas, various outdoor games, a playground, and an ice cream parlor."

PopStroke is adding 13 locations with most expected to open by the end of the year.

"PopStroke continues to use golf to bring families and friends together in a fun, welcoming environment,” said Woods.

The Las Vegas location will feature two 18-hole putting greens as well as a two-story restaurant, multiple bars, and an outdoor beer garden featuring games such as corn hole and foosball, according to Casino.org.

PopStroke's courses feature "Augusta-like holes created in miniature that incorporate fairways, bunkers, and roughs as seen on traditional golf courses," the website reported.

Woods has won 15 major championships but has been hampered by injuries in recent years.

PopStroke locations offer visitors custom TaylorMade golf balls that they play with at the venue and get to take home as souvenirs. Customers can also rent TaylorMade putters if they want to enhance their experience.

The chain also offers visitors the ability to order food and drinks via its app for delivery while they are playing. PopStroke's app also can be used to keep score, meaning that people won't need the little pencils traditionally associated with minigolf.
