Las Vegas pegs Steelers’ 2019 wins at 9

The oddsmakers in Las Vegas don’t seem to have a whole lot of confidence in the Pittsburgh Steelers. According to ESPN, the predictions are out for the upcoming NFL season and in terms of wins, they have Pittsburgh checking in with a repeat of last season.

They have the Steelers winning nine games in 2019, which if you don’t figure in another freakish tie means Pittsburgh will actually finish worse than last season. The Steelers missed the playoffs in 2018 after a 9-6-1 finish.

Much of the concern over the Steelers centers on the loss of wide receiver Antonio Brown. But perhaps more than that it is the resurgence of the Cleveland Browns tempering enthusiasm for the rest of the AFC North.

The hope among Steeler Nation is by clearing out all the drama from the last two seasons will translate to wins on the field. The AFC North is shaping up to be a three-team race with the Baltimore Ravens in the mix and the Cincinnati Bengals are the only team which seems to have lost ground.

But I pass the question off to you. How many games will the Steelers win in 2019?
