Las Vegas mom created a safe space for mothers — now she’s accused of abusing her son

Christiann Ault, the administrator behind the Las Vegas Super Moms Facebook group, now faces serious criminal allegations, including two felony counts of lewdness involving a minor under 14, and one count of child abuse involving her son.

According to a Nevada news outlet, KSNV, Ault pleaded not guilty during her July 30 arraignment after being indicted by a grand jury, according to local court records. Launched in 2021, the Las Vegas Super Moms community swelled to around 30,000 members before being taken offline. It was a space for mothers in the area to connect, seek advice, plan events, and share parenting experiences.

In the aftermath of the charges, concerns have emerged about the potential dangers of even “closed” or “private” online groups, where trust between adults and minors can be exploited.

The allegations against Christiann Ault

According to the indictment, Ault allegedly coerced her child into engaging in sexual acts, and testimony before the grand jury revealed that these abusive encounters occurred approximately once or twice per week over two years, continuing until March 2024. The minor—who was 10 years old at the time of the testimony—also reported feeling unsafe, unloved, and emotionally distressed throughout the abuse.

In addition to the sexual misconduct accusations, the child described being emotionally manipulated and punished, detailing episodes where they were locked in their room for hours at a time.

The boy told others what happened

The disturbing situation came to light when the child disclosed details of the abuse to two other adults in March 2024. This prompted a welfare check conducted by Henderson Police and further questioning by the Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department.

According to court documents, Ault allegedly made an extraordinary 242 attempts to contact a witness in a single day, raising questions about her intentions and influence over the case. Ault pleaded not guilty at her arraignment in July 2025, following a grand jury indictment.

She has posted bond and remains free while awaiting further proceedings. A jury trial is scheduled for April 6, 2026. The “Las Vegas Super Moms” Facebook group was paused for 32 days following the allegations.

As of early August, the group is tentatively set to resume activity on September 6, 2025. This could change depending on the status of the case. It briefly reopened under restricted access, visible only to existing members, and membership has dipped.
