Larsa Pippen and Marcus Jordan split amid family tension

Larsa Pippen and Marcus Jordan have split

Larsa Pippen and Marcus Jordan, known for their relationship that became public earlier this year, have reportedly split. Multiple insiders have revealed that the couple is taking time apart due to tension caused by family drama. Larsa, a star of the 'Real Housewives of Miami,' fueled breakup rumors when she deleted all evidence of their relationship from her Instagram account.

According to a source, the tension in Larsa and Marcus' relationship was incited by Marcus' father, basketball legend Michael Jordan, publicly expressing his disapproval. Although Marcus claimed his father's comment was in jest, it deeply upset Larsa. Furthermore, Michael's ongoing feud with Larsa's ex-husband, Scottie Pippen, added to the complications for the couple. Despite their efforts to navigate these difficulties, the history between Michael and Scottie made things complicated.

Both Marcus and Larsa prioritize family, which made their relationship harder to manage. As the insider explains, loyalty towards their respective fathers played a significant role. Michael is Marcus' dad, and Scottie is the father of Larsa's children. This underlying loyalty created challenges and added strain to their relationship.

Surprisingly, Larsa's castmates on 'Real Housewives of Miami' were caught off guard by the split. The suddenness of the decision left them with many questions, as they believed Larsa and Marcus were deeply in love. There was no indication of trouble in their paradise.

Speculation about possible issues arose when Larsa removed photos of Marcus from her social media and unfollowed him on Instagram. In an Instagram poll, she also asked her followers if their friends should unfollow their exes. Marcus mirrored Larsa's actions by deleting photos of her from his Instagram and unfollowing her as well. He further hinted at their breakup by posting a photo with his dad and quoting Drake's song, 'First Person Shooter,' which alludes to him being ready to explore relationships with other women.

Their split comes as a surprise, especially considering that just last month, Larsa and Marcus celebrated Marcus' birthday together in Miami. The couple had initially sparked dating rumors in September 2022 but only made their relationship Instagram-official in January 2023.

At present, Larsa's representative has not responded to comments regarding their breakup. Fans and followers will have to wait for any official statements or updates on their relationship status.
