Who doesn’t like to throw it back on a Thursday? The NFL is celebrating 100 years of football and, as part of that, is sharing 100 of the league’s greatest moments.
Showing up at No. 94 on that list is a moment Cardinals fans will remember. It was Larry Fitzgerald in overtime in the divisional playoff game against the Green Bay Packers following the 2015 season.
The Packers had made a furious comeback with a pair of unlikely pass completions to force overtime. However, Arizona would not let the Packers even get the ball in overtime.
Carson Palmer rolled to his right, spun out of a potential tackle and found Fitzgerald wide open on the opposite side of the field.
Fitz did the rest, getting inside the 10-yard line. One play later, he would score the game-winning touchdown.
