The Falcons aren’t the only team that’s a mess this season, but their 1-5 start is by far the most surprising. With players like Matt Ryan, Julio Jones and Grady Jarrett leading the way, this was supposed to be Atlanta’s year to return to contention.
In last week’s 34-33 loss to the Arizona Cardinals, wide receiver Larry Fitzgerald was heard telling rookie quarterback Kyler Murray that Jones was the best receiver he’s ever seen.

Many feel the same way about Jones, but few have the clout of Larry Fitzgerald — who can make his own case for the best wide receiver ever.
Jones signed an extension with the Falcons just a day before the season started and currently has 34 catches for 467 yards and four touchdowns in 2019.
