Larry Ellison's NC flops again

Larry Ellison's second "network computer" company is folding, according to CNet. NIC (New Internet Computer Co) couldn't sell enough systems to keep going. "Network computers" were wildly overhyped in the middle 90s and, according to some gullible reports, were destined to kill off personal computers. Larry Ellison founded Oracle and was once richer than Croesus, or even Microsoft's Bill Gates.
