A large emergency operation is underway in Larne after a teenager entered the water.
Police helicopter, search crews and ambulance crews are at the scene at the Inver River.
It is understood a girl entered the river before 10pm.
An ambulance service spokesman said: "We were called to an incident in Larne after reports of a teenage girl having entered the water."
A witness at the scene said: “It happened just off the dual carriageway.
“Everything has been sealed off. The river runs down a deep verge, you can hear it running rapidly even with lorries going by.
“There are specialist fire brigades, community rescue service, police and about 10 to 15 emergency vehicles here, it's a massive operation.”
