Part of the A1 in Newcastle will be closed in both directions overnight while roadworks are carried out.
The large stretch from junction 73 Derwenthaugh to junction 75 East Denton will be closed fully northbound and partially southbound from Monday July 8 to Saturday July 13.
The full northbound carriageway will be closed from 8pm to 6am each night while some lanes will be closed southbound.
Highways England say the closures are due to "survey work" and a signed local diversion will be in place.
The works are due to be completed on August 23.
Elsewhere on the A1 , there will be daytime traffic signals southbound from Tuesday July 9 to Monday July 15, between 7am and 6pm, for structure maintenance work at Cheswick, Northumberland .
There will also be works on the A696 Kenton Bar to Newcastle Airport from Monday 8 July to Monday 15 July.
There will be a full closure of the eastbound carriageway with lane 2 closures westbound and an outer ring closure at Kenton Bar Junction 77 between 8pm and 6am, with local diversion routes in place. The work is due to be completed on August 7.
On the A19 at Testo's Roundabout, there will be extended weekend carriageway closures northbound from Hylton to Testo’s with northbound exit and entry slip road closures at Downhill Lane between Friday July 12 and Monday July 15.
They will be in place from 8pm to 6am due to the major improvement work.
There will also be lane 2 closures north of Hylton from 8pm on Friday July 12 to 6am on Monday July 15 with a 24-hour inner closure of Testo’s roundabout.
This project is due for completion in December 2021.
