A huge emergency operation is underway at a Kilmarnock park this evening after a young girl fell on the grounds at the Dean Castle.
Police, fire and ambulance crews raced to the scene shortly after 5.30pm.
At this time, it's not been established where the incident took place in the vast country park.
But a heavy emergency presence was still at the scene just before 7pm as the rescue continued.
Fire engines, ambulances and police vehicles had surrounded the historic castle and emergency lighting had been placed on the grounds to allow crews to work.
A Police Scotland spokeswoman said: "Around 5.30pm on Tuesday, February 16, police were made aware a girl had fallen at Dean Castle.
"The matter was dealt with by the fire service and paramedics. We have no further information."
The Scottish Fire and Rescue Service has been contacted for comment.
