Large queues build outside Nottinghamshire garden centre on Easter Monday

Queues were building outside a Nottinghamshire garden centre on Easter Monday, April 5.

The queues were forming outside at the East Bridgford Garden Centre as people waited to enter the store.

An eyewitness at the garden centre said there was quite a long queue that had formed and the car park was busy as well.

Easter Monday is set to be a largely sunny but cold day with highs of 6C in Nottingham.

Garden centres have remained open throughout the pandemic as essential retailers and have been popular shopping spots for those looking to spruce up their garden.

Later on Monday, April 5, Prime Minister Boris Johnson is expected to outline more roadmap exit plans.
