A large police scene has been set up after a 'serious' fire in Walton.
Three fire engines rushed to the scene, in Walton Village, after reports of a blaze breaking out at a flat above a shop.
Emergency services attended the fire that broke out around 2.57am on Monday, January 31.

Fire crews left the scene at 7.19am after putting out the fire using high pressure hose reels.
Police and the fire service remain at the property to carry out investigation work.
It is not yet clear if anyone was in the building during the fire.
A spokesperson for Merseyside fire and rescue service described the fire as 'serious.'
Fire crews left the scene at 7.19am, however there is still an emergency services presence at the scene as investigations remain ongoing.
A statement released by the force said: "Fire crews have attended a serious fire at a flat above a shop in Walton Village, Walton, Liverpool in the early hours of this morning.
"Three fire engines and an aerial appliance are in attendance.
"Crews were alerted at 2.57am and on scene at 3.04am.
"Crews quickly requested the attendance of an aerial appliance as the fire was breaking through the roof of the building.
"Four firefighters wearing breathing apparatus entered the flat and began fighting the fire using high pressure hose reels while searching for occupants.
"Firefighters are fighting the fire in the roof space of the building and are checking for fire spread in neighbouring properties.
"Merseyside Police and North West Ambulance Service (NWAS) are in attendance at the incident, which is ongoing."
The ECHO has approached Merseyside police for a comment on the incident.
