A sizable police presence was spotted outside a number of houses on Derby Road.
A picture was sent in to Nottinghamshire Live at around 8pm on Saturday, August 17.
It shows two police vans, two cars and a police officer carrying out investigations at a property, on Derby Road in Bramcote, near to the Nurseryman pub.
A Nottinghamshire Police spokeswoman said the presence was part of an earlier inquiry.
She added that as part of the investigations, a vehicle was seized.
