Large police presence reported in Falkirk area amid ongoing 'incident'

A large police presence has been reported in Grangemouth amid an ongoing incident.

Residents have taken to social media after witnessing a number of vehicles with blue lights ‘flying about the streets’

It’s understood cops are looking for a suspect and police dogs are also involved in the operation.

The nature of the incident is currently unclear at this stage though.

A picture sent to Falkirk Live shows two dog units and a cop car in Inchyra Park.

Posting on Facebook, one person said: "Loads of police going about the town tonight. They’re out with the dogs too."

Another wrote: "Polis flying about the streets tonight and there’s two dog units in Inchyra Park."

While a third posted: "Just spoke to police in the park, one cop said they were looking for someone."

Police Scotland have been contacted for a comment.
