Police and paramedics have been called to an "unexplained death" in Fishponds.
Emergency services attended Tyndale Avenue just before 11.30am today (January 4).
Around five police vehicles and two South Western Ambulance Service vehicles remained at the scene at around 1.30pm.
A spokesperson for Avon and Somerset Constabulary said: "We were called at 11.12am this morning to an unexplained death at Tyndale Avenue."
The force are currently looking into the death.
A local resident said she was concerned by the police presence and the impact it would have on residents.
