A power cut has hit parts of Runcorn.
SP Energy Networks said the cut is affecting some areas in the WA7 postcode in and around Woodall Drive, Whitby Road and Langdale Road.
Engineers are working to fix the problem and normal service is expected to resume within the hour.
An SP Energy Networks spokesperson said: "We did not know in advance there would be a power cut and became aware of this at 1.49pm.
"Our engineers have arrived on site to investigate and our team will work to get your power back on as quickly and as safely as possible.
"We expect the power to be restored by 4pm.
"We will update this message if this information changes.
"We apologise for the inconvenience and thank you for your patience."
Postcodes affected are: WA7 5NU, WA7 5NY, WA7 5NZ, WA7 5PA, WA7 5PB, WA7 5PH, WA7 5PJ, WA7 5PL, WA7 5PN, WA7 5PR, WA7 5PS, WA7 5PT, WA7 5PU, WA7 5PX, WA7 5PY, WA7 5PZ, WA7 5QA, WA7 5QB, WA7 5QD, WA7 5QE, WA7 5QF, WA7 5QH, WA7 5QQ, WA7 5SZ, WA7 5TA, WA7 5TB, WA7 5TE, WA7 5TF, WA7 5TG and WA7 5TJ.
