Large pack of missing dogs discovered in same Lucan park over two-days as Gardai investigate disappearance

A large group of missing dogs were discovered in the same west Dublin area over a two-day period as Gardai probe their disappearance.

Officers are investigating after the dogs were seized by the South Dublin County Council who came across the pack.

SDCC wardens made the find at Kishogue Park in Lucan taking them in during an operation last Thursday and Friday.

Several different breeds of pooch was found with no obvious link between the dogs present.

The Council told Dublin Live that a Garda investigation is ongoing into the discovery.

They confirmed: "The SDCC Dog Wardens assisted An Garda Siochana in an operation in the Lucan area, on the 8th and 9th of April, where the dogs were seized, the Garda investigation is ongoing."

Dog owners who wish to claim one of the dogs are urged to contact the Dog Wardens at 01 4149213 or info@sdublincoco.ie.
