A large Garda presence stormed a west Dublin estate late last night as Gardai found two injured men following an 'incident' in the area.
Investigating officers rushed to the scene at Elmdale in Cherry Orchard after the alarm was raised at around 9pm where Gardai discovered the injured parties.
Residents told Dublin Live that the place was filled with droves of squad cars and that an ambulance was also at the scene.
One local said: "Garda cars were flying up the road with no sirens on, just lights. They were all over the place."
No formal complaints were made by either of the injured parties and Gardai say that no further investigation is needed on the matter.
A Garda spokeswoman told Dublin Live: "We were alerted to an incident which took place at a housing estate in Ballyfermot, yesterday evening Tuesday, 28th July at approximately 9.45pm.
"On arrival at the scene, Gardaí observed two males with minor injuries and conducted inquiries."
She added: "No formal complaints were made to Gardaí by the injured parties."
