Large fire breaks out at Tehran fuel depot following Israel strike

  • Israel Defense Forces (IDF) reportedly conducted airstrikes on oil refinery and fuel facilities in Tehran.
  • The attacks, which occurred on Saturday, 7 March, targeted the Aqdasieh fuel depot and other oil depots in Tehran and Alborz provinces.
  • Around 20 large oil storage tanks were reportedly hit, resulting in significant flames and thick plumes of smoke.
  • The strikes caused a major fire at the Aqdasieh fuel depot.
  • The IDF stated the action was aimed at 'significantly deepening the damage to the military infrastructure of the Iranian terrorist regime'.
