Large emergency services response after crash outside McDonald's

Emergency services are currently at the scene of a two car crash near a McDonald's in north Liverpool .

Police were called to the junction of Queens Drive and Utting Avenue at around 1.30pm on Friday, to reports of a crash between a Vauxhall Mokka and a Honda.

Photos from the scene show several police cars parked up along Queens Drive, along with two fire engines.

Fire crews can be seen surrounding one of the vehicles which is blocking off the right hand lane.

A spokesperson from the force said nobody is believed to have been seriously injured in the crash.

Police are currently waiting for one of the cars to be recovered from the scene.

A Merseyside Police spokesperson said: "We were called at 1.30pm to reports of a two vehicle RTC.

"There are no serious injuries. We are still at the scene.

"One vehicle has blocked off the road. We have requested recovery."
