Large crowds line entire street to meet Alun Wyn Jones as he visits bookshop

These were the scenes as long queues formed outside a book shop to meet Wales rugby captain Alun Wyn Jones.

Jones was in Haverfordwest to meet fans and sign copies of his new autobiography at the Victoria bookshop in the town after his memoir, Belonging, hit the shelves last week.

The Lions hero is travelling around the country promoting the book, as well as starting his training comeback with the Ospreys following the summer Lions tour.

Large groups of people have been turning out to meet the most capped rugby player in history, with dozens lining the entire street outside the shop.

In the book, Jones comes across as a very private man and in general there are plaudits, rather than criticism, of individuals he has played with and against.
