Police uncovered a massive cannabis factory by crawling through a bathroom bolt hole.
Officers were called to an address in St Ann's last week where the large cannabis grow was discovered.
Officers found 790 cannabis plants in a property in St Marks Street, after responding to a report of an aggravated burglary.
A man and a woman were assaulted and threatened by a number of men who stole cannabis plants from an unoccupied business unit below their flat at around 7.10am on April 30. They went to hospital for treatment to minor injuries.
A 28-year-old man was arrested on suspicion of aggravated burglary in connection with the incident. He was bailed pending further enquiries.
Anyone who witnessed anything suspicious is urged to call Nottinghamshire Police on 101, quoting incident number 111 of 30 April 2019.
Police tweeted pictures of what they uncovered.
Police said: "Last week we attended another home invasion in the middle of the city centre.
"This cannabis grow was discovered. The electrics had been tampered with abstracting electricity illegally.
"Report any signs of a cannabis grow to the Police on 101 or anonymously."
