A large area in South Dublin was sealed off after mysterious trail of blood running from the scene of an alleged shooting to a nearby park was found.
Gardai sealed off a large section of Cushlawn Park in Tallaght following an incident in the early hours of Thursday morning.
Several blue latex gloves had covered the bloodstains along the trail but the scene has now been reopened.

Gardai are still on the hunt for the gunman after shots were allegedly fired at a house overnight in the area.
Locals reported a huge Garda presence in the area, while a spokesperson for the force said the investigation is ongoing.
They said: "Gardai attended an incident at Cushlawn Park Tallaght D24 on the 25th April 2019 at approximately 2am. Shots were allegedly fired at the front of a house.

"No injuries were reported. The scene is preserved and investigations are ongoing."
