Laois will attack Dublin, says Eddie Brennan

Laois will keep going for the jugular against Dublin today as they chase a shock All-Ireland quarter-final place, according to manager Eddie Brennan.

Brennan's side hold the home advantage today and have previously knocked three goals past Westmeath in the Joe McDonagh Cup Final, as well as hitting four past Offaly and five past Kerry en route to the second-tier decider.

And that strategy is not going to change for today's clash with Mattie Kenny's men form the capital.

"We’ve averaged plenty of goals in every match," Brennan told the Irish Mirror.

“By attacking is how you’re going to beat teams. You can’t sit back and expect to slug it out. For me, you have to go at it and attack.

“Maybe you might be that bit more defensive at a stage in a match, just to get your foothold but ultimately you have to go after it, you have to go attacking and that’s been one of the foundation blocks for us all year.”
