Language service provider developing new AI system

A Swansea-based language service provider has begun to develop an artificial intelligence system.

The Wolfestone Group believes the new system can accelerate efficiencies and reduce costs for its customers across all four of its brands; Wolfestone, VoiceBox, RLI and City Lingual.

The bespoke system is being designed specifically to handle high-performance, flexible usage and content-intensive tasks, with the aim of helping customers save time, money and increase their output. AI technology is rapidly transforming businesses across all industries. Research from Accenture suggests that AI could boost productivity by up to 40%.

Roy Allkin, a co-founder of Wolfestone Group, said: “The world is moving so fast that people, businesses, and organisations need to get their message out there as fast as possible and as widely as possible. This means many different languages across numerous different channels. Technology is at the forefront of this drive, and Wolfestone Group is at the forefront of the languages and translation industry.”

As part of a wider digital transformation effort, Wolfestone recently established an AI team in a bid to leverage the potential of this technology for a growing client base of industry-leading businesses.

The team is tasked with implementing this state-of-the-art technology across both academic and enterprise organisations. These engineers are working to introduce tailored AI systems across the Group’s portfolio of four businesses with further potential acquisitions on the horizon.

Mr Allkin added: “Our new technology will bring massive benefits to our clients and is being built to ensure that new companies that join the Wolfestone family will be able to take advantage of the tech benefits from day one.

“We are extremely excited about the future and passionate about delivering the very best for our clients. This technology will help us increase our market share globally and create more jobs.”
