Langcraigs FC lads back in action after lockdown layoff

Langcraigs Football Club 2005s are ‘buzzing’ to be back in action.

The talented team are in full-contact training at the Gleniffer High School Astroturf pitches ahead of a return to competitive matches.

As restrictions are lifted, the squad has enjoyed getting together once again and club bosses say they are raring to go.

Langcraigs secretary Susan McCrystal told the Paisley Daily Express: “It has been hard for them all not being able to play with their mates.

“So it’s great to see them with a smile on their face. They are all buzzing.

“We have some friendly matches coming up, so that will give the boys something to focus on.

“We were delighted when all the team returned after lockdown.

“We thought there might have been some drop off, but they have all come back.”
