Scottish electro trio Chvrches make their return to Laneway festival along with Beach House, Purity Ring, East Indie Youth and Grimes. They will be joined by Australian acts Flume, Big Scary, Hermitude, Japanese Wallpaper and Violent Soho.
The festival, which began in a small bar on Melbourne’s Caledonian Lane in 2004, has expanded across the nation and tours to Auckland, Singapore and Detroit. In 2016, it will host a mix of electronica, indie-rock, pop and hip hop.
