LANESPLIT, the traffic-weaving motorcycle racing simulator from solo developer FunkyMouse, is set to launch on Wednesday, January 28 on PC via Steam with PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S versions planned to release at a later date.
The game puts players straight into high-speed runs that demand total focus as they slice through traffic and read every turn across looping environments. Races take place on busy city highways, winding mountain roads and scenic coastal routes, where threading between moving vehicles becomes the core challenge. Check out the trailer below.
Victory often comes from an aggressive, all-out riding style but the margin for error is incredibly small. At full speed, the world fades into a blur as players chase a rhythm that rewards precision, timing and nerve. Traffic is alive and unpredictable, filled with semi trucks, lane-changing cars and everyday vehicles that follow real traffic rules, making every overtake a calculated risk.
Bike choice matters with fifteen sportbikes available, each built around physics and accurate handling. Dry roads favor raw speed and sharp control while rain shifts the balance toward traction and braking just to stay upright. Players can test their skills in Rush Hour mode with dense traffic or take a more relaxed approach on open roads in Zen mode.
Style also plays a part with customizable helmets and clothing helping build aura. The soundtrack reacts to the action, building intensity as speeds climb and cutting off instantly with every crash, reinforcing the constant tension between control and chaos.
For those interested in checking it out ahead of release, a playable demo is available on Steam.
