Two sections of the A9 in Perthshire will undergo overnight surfacing improvement works starting this week.
The first improvements will see resurfacing on the northbound carriageway beyond Blackford and the second on the northbound section between Broxden and Inveralmond Roundabouts at the A85 off and on-slip.
The overnight project near Blackford, worth £270,000, is scheduled to begin on October 13 for six nights.
The project will take place between 7.30pm and 6.30am each night until 6.30am on Friday, October 22.
No works are programmed for Friday, Saturday or Sunday night.
A lane closure with a 10mph convoy system will be in place overnight. The B8081 on-slip at Tullibardine Distillery will also be closed during working hours with traffic being diverted.
The Broxden to Inveralmond A9 works, worth £260,000, get underway on Friday, October 15, starting at 7.30pm with completion expected by 6.30am on Monday, October 18.
Overnight lane closures will be in place on both northbound and southbound carriageways from October 14-15.
A single lane closure will remain in place on the southbound carriageway during Friday daytime.
A contraflow system will be in place between Inveralmond Roundabout and the A85 off-slip from October 15-18.
The A9 northbound off-slip to A85 (Crieff Road) will also be closed during this time, with traffic being diverted.
Overnight lane closures will then be in place on both carriageways on Monday, October 18.
