Lane Johnson set to return to the Eagles after missing matchup vs. Chiefs

With the Eagles badly in need of healthy bodies along the offensive line, star right tackle Lane Johnson is set to return to the team according to John Clark of NBC Sports Philadelphia.

Johnson, a 1st-team all-pro in 2017 and a Pro Bowler in 2017, 2018, and 2019 missed nine games last year because of an ankle injury.

Johnson was limited in practice last Wednesday with ankle soreness but participated fully on Thursday and Friday.

Jack Driscoll started at right tackle in place of Johnson against the Chiefs and could slide down to right guard in place of Nate Herbig against Carolina on Sunday.
