A lane closure on one of Kilmarnock's busiest roads has been causing disruption for motorists this morning.
John Finnie Street's right-hand lane has been closed as roadworks are carried out.
Drivers have been facing delays on the one-way system with the road reduced to just two lanes.
The disruption comes days after part of the one-way system was closed down for road works.
On Monday night the exit to Green Street, which runs alongside the viaduct, was blocked off on the one-way system, meaning that East George Street car park was unaccessible to the public and traders.
Roadworks were taking place on the corner of Portland Street and West George Street.
