Landon Collins was Redskins’ highest-graded player during loss to Cowboys

Landon Collins is already churning out big games after the Washington Redskins gave him a major contract this offseason.

Collins was all over the field during his team’s Week 2 loss to the Dallas Cowboys, leading the team with 12 total tackles, one of them for a loss.

As seen above from Pro Football Focus, Collins ended up as the highest-graded player outright for the team.

Overall, Collins has a 69.8 grade so far this season. That wasn’t enough to prevent the Redskins from starting 0-2, but it is a good sign that the front office has finally solved the problem at safety and can turn its attention elsewhere.

Elsewhere on an initial pass, PFF singled out Josh Norman as having a rough game while Shaun Dion-Hamilton showed some more of his noteworthy upside.
