Landon Collins thought Dwayne Haskins was going to the Giants

It turns out even NFL players thought the New York Giants were going to select Dwayne Haskins at No. 6 overall.

Count Landon Collins among those. In the interview above, he revealed he thought his former NFL team was going to grab Haskins.

NFC East fans know how this one played out.

The Giants instead took Daniel Jones, convinced teams wouldn’t let him fall to No. 17. The Washington Redskins then grabbed the falling Haskins at No. 15.

Maybe in a different timeline, Haskins and Collins would have been teammates on the Giants. Collins, after all, was upset when New York didn’t make an effort to bring him back.

Either way, Collins still gets to play alongside the guy he thinks was the best quarterback in the class.
